Improved technologies is a tool offering extension workers, trainers, farmers, and private sector players in Uganda a quick access to up-to-date locally relevant information on improved agricultural technologies and techniques to improve their production.

The topics to be presented are grouped under the major categories of: Crop production, Animal production, Fishery production, Forestry production, and Agricultural engineering and appropriate technology. Information packages related to the improved technologies and their management with specific relevance to Uganda are provided. Images are included to allow for easy identification of some of the key technologies that have been produced through the national research systems such as the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) and others. The information will continue to be updated to improve its currency and quality.
